| Sarita Leone has
been writing since she could hold a pencil. Her early pieces were
published in the 1970s when she was still attending high school.
During college and the early years of her marriage she had a number
of short bits of writing published in small publications and journals.
It wasn't until her husband retired and they moved to a sleepy
town in upstate New York that she began to write in earnest.
She's written seven novels, mostly mysteries, and two cookbooks.
Currently she is working on a romance called Alpine Art. It is
a story of love, priceless masterpieces and old-world fortune
set in the picturesque city of Zurich. An unlikely spot for romance?
Perhaps. But Alpine Art promises to melt at least some of the
snow on the alps!
When she's not busy writing, Sarita and her husband Vito can be
found enjoying life on the rolling farm where they live. There
are no animals on the farm besides their two cats, Mimi and Piglet.
In the warm weather they like to hike, kayak, garden and dance
beneath the stars. During the winter months they pass the time
snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing and hiking. And yes, they dance
beneath the stars in the snow, too.
Snowdance is the first novel the author has published with Whiskey
Creek Press. |
