Michele Wallace Campanelli is an American
writer, singer and Florida celebrity. She was born
Michele Suzanne Wallace in 1971 at Holmes Regional
Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida. Graduated from
Melbourne High School in 1990 and attended several
colleges including Keiser College, Writer's Digest
School and Brevard Community College.
During the early 1990s, Michele was lead singer of
the heavy metal band, Black Widow, which was one of
the first all-female bands during their reign in the
early 90s. As lead singer, her nickname was Screech
which she received because with a near 4 octave range
she sang a high note which was rumored to break glass.
Although, Black Widow is considered one of the founders
for female rock bands in Florida, Black Widow never
recorded a professional album. They did open for Testament,
Rob Zombie's band White Zombie and Christopher Long's
Dead Serious.
After Black Widow's break-up, Michele Wallace Campanelli
started writing short stories and fiction novels professionally.
She has had nine stories which have appeared on the
best-sellers list, including two that reached #1 on
the New York Times. Her short stories have been included
in over 30 international selling anthologies. She has
also penned numerous novels, magazine and newspaper
articles in both fiction and non-fiction published
by Simon & Schuster, Chronicle Books, Fireside
Books, Fictionwise, Florida Today Newspaper, Woman's
World Magazine, Adamsmedia, McGraw-Hill, Multnomah
Books, Red Rock Press, HCI and America House Publishing.

In 1989, Michele wed Louis V. Campanelli III at St.
Mark’s United Methodist Church in Indialantic,
Florida. She currently lives in Brevard with her husband
and their dog, Champ.
When she isn’t writing, Michele is CEO of Regal
Entertainment Services LLC which performs concerts
around Florida. She is a professional singer, writer
and actor. As a devoted Christian, Michele uses her
talents to glorify God and bring joy to others through
music and her books.
