Michele
Bardsley has been creating stories since she was very young. She
put pen to paper in junior high in the form of angst-filled poetry,
angst-filled journals, and angst-filled short stories. She worked
on her high school and college newspapers because she thought
she wanted to be a journalist.
After she got her associates degree in liberal arts…otherwise
known as the degree of the perpetual student…she ended up
majoring in marriage and motherhood whereupon she failed housework,
plant care, and staying calm in the face of big owies.
In 1998, Michele sold her first book, a romantic comedy called
DADDY IN TRAINING to Hard Shell Word Factory. Since then, she's
sold novels, novellas, short stories, poetry and nonfiction to
many electronic and print publishers. Her articles have appeared
in Writer's Digest Magazine, RT BOOKClub Magazine, and Byline
Magazine.
Her works have won the Grand Prize in the 72nd Annual Writer's
Digest Writing Competition, Best Published Romance Novel in the
Royal Palm Literary Awards, Best Fiction Book from the Oklahoma
Writer's Federation, Inc., an EPPIE for Best Romantic Suspense,
and numerous other honors from publications and organizations.
Michele loves to hear from her fans!
