Lorna Collins was raised in Alhambra, California where she was an honor student in English. She worked in Document Control for many years doing a great deal of technical writing. Between 1998 and 2001, she worked in Japan on the Universal Studios theme park with her husband, Larry. Their memoir of that experience, 31 Months in Japan: The Building of a Theme Park was published in 2005. Lorna and Larry have one daughter, Kimberly. They now reside in Dana Point, CA where Lorna works for a California bank as an IT professional and enjoys spending time with family and friends. Together they have completed and a mystery novel and are working on two sequels.
