After serving in the Air Force as a registered nurse, Lori Avocato decided to give up her nursing career to write fiction. She has since sold eight contemporary romances.
She lives in New England and is the past president of the Connecticut Chapter of Romance Writers. She also belongs to Sisters in Crime and Mystery Writers of America. Lori writes full time and is currently working on a humorous crime solving series of an ex-nurse who becomes a medical fraud insurance investigator.
