KRISTA JANSSEN combines superior writing with breathtaking passion in her historical romances adored by fans and critics. Krista holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Oklahoma. Formerly an advertising executive at Neiman-Marcus, she published her first romance novel with Pocket Books in the early nineties. Krista has published seven novels, all of which received highest accolades from critics and were award finalists in their individual categories with Romantic Times and Affaire de Coeur. In 1998, Krista flew to Edinburgh, Scotland with other top romance authors to place copies of her Scottish romances into the permanent collection of the Museum of Scotland. Recently Krista moved from Santa Fe, New Mexico to Port Saint Lucie, Florida where she enjoys a lush tropical environment surrounding her villa on the St. Lucie River. When she isn’t writing, she heads for the Club Med golf course which is right next door.
Krista’s breathtaking mainstream romantic historical, SILVERSWORD, is an e-read and hard-copy release from Whiskey Creek Press April 1, 2006. Her dramatic historical romance, WIND ROSE will be a December release.
