Kevin was born
in Detroit, Michigan but moved with his family to Southern California
when he was only five. Public elementary school offered Kevin
an opportunity to experiment with many different kinds of writing
ranging from poetry and short stories to later excursions in
full-length novels. Kevin worked on his private high school’s
literary magazine for four years.
When he moved to Moscow, Idaho for college Kevin rekindled his
love of writing through fiction writing electives his first
few years in college. Kevin put writing aside when his class
work suffered and focused on his major in Resource Recreation
Management. When his wife was offered a job in Eugene, Oregon,
Kevin and family packed up. A year later Kevin had his first
inspiration for a Christian novel. Kevin rekindled his love
of writing but with a new sense of mission and ministry through
writing.
Kevin is a full time house daddy with two boys taking care of
the home while his wife works. His writing time is reserved
primarily for after the boys go to bed at night so he can spend
as much time with them as possible. Kevin’s long term
plan is to open a fully ecumenical religious retreat camp in
Oregon. Kevin's other book, Exile, was published in April of
2002.
