Julie has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a minor in English Literature from San Diego State University. In addition, she earned a Masters in Social Work from the University of Alabama and has worked in teaching, childbirth education and family therapy. She is the author of two other fiction novels including the sequel to The Woman He Married, No Holly for Christmas, due for release from WCP in November 2011.

Currently, she lives in Nashville, TN with her husband and two daughters.
