John Everson is the author of
the erotic horror novelette Failure (2006) and the Bram Stoker
Award-winning occult horror novel Covenant (2004). Sacrifice,
a sequel to Covenant, will be released in 2006. Everson’s
horror and dark fantasy short stories have been collected in the
books Vigilantes of Love (2003) and Cage of Bones & Other
Deadly Obsessions (2000), and he is also the co-editor and designer
of the Spooks! ghost story anthology (2004). His short fiction
has appeared in magazines like Space and Time, Wicked Karnival,
Red Scream, Black October and Grue, and in the anthologies Damned:
An Anthology of the Lost, Cold Flesh, Small Bites, Peepshow, Decadence
2, Tourniquet Heart, The Dead Inn and the CD-ROM anthology Bloodtype,
which includes an Everson-composed techno theme song.
