For Jan, writing is like breathing. She loves books, and when she ran out of reading material one day, she decided to write one of her own. She dabbled in writing for fifteen years, while she finished raising kids. Then she decided to get serious! Loving Ben is the result.
When she’s not writing or polishing a manuscript, Jan sneaks away to spend time in her garden, weeding, watering—and writing. She lives in Northern Ontario, Canada, with her husband of 28 years, and a neurotic dog. She also talks to her grown-up kids over the Internet every chance she gets.
