Betty Jo Schuler writes at her central Florida
home, where she collects teddy bears, glass paperweights, and
what her grown kids call “Betty Jo-isms”—sayings
you have to think about twice. One saying she likes about writing
is: “If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll
always get what you’ve always got.”
“I suppose that’s why I write in several genres,”
she says. “I like trying something different.”
A former teacher, her fifteen published books run the gamut from
humor to mystery to romance. Winning Chance is a rollicking romantic
comedy with mystery thrown into the mix. Betty Jo says, “Spending
my days and nights on a desert island with Chance Dawson, my sexiest
hero to date, was such fun, I hated to write “The End”.
I hope readers enjoy Winning Chance as much as I did.”
